27th July 2025 : Menstrual hygiene Awareness Program: Botad

A Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program and Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive was organized on July 27, 2025, in Botad by Suwasini Trust and Dr. Urvashi Mishra. The program was conducted at Shree Ramanandacharya Primary School with the objective of spreading awareness about menstrual health among girls. Students were guided on the importance of hygiene, its benefits, and safe practices during menstruation. As part of the initiative, sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to all participants. The program successfully promoted awareness, encouraged healthy habits, and helped break social taboos, empowering young girls with knowledge, confidence, and dignity.
