11th August 2025 : Menstrual hygiene Awareness Program: Mira road, mumbai

A Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program and Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive was organized on August 11, 2025, in Mira Road, Mumbai by Suwasini Trust and Dr. Urvashi Mishra. The program was conducted at Ankur Children’s Home with the objective of promoting awareness about menstrual health among girls. Special focus was given to guiding the girls at the orphanage on the importance of hygiene, its benefits, and safe practices during menstruation. As part of the initiative, sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to all participants. The program successfully empowered the girls with essential knowledge, confidence, and dignity, encouraging healthier and safer practices.
