30th July 2025 : Menstrual hygiene Awareness Program: Botad

A Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program and Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive was organized on July 30, 2025, in Botad by Suwasini Trust and Dr. Urvashi Mishra. The program was conducted at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Primary School No. 24 with the objective of spreading awareness about menstrual health among girls. Participants were educated on the importance of hygiene, its benefits, and safe practices during menstruation. As part of the initiative, sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to all students. The program successfully promoted awareness, encouraged healthy habits, and empowered young girls with knowledge, confidence, and dignity.
