31st July 2025 : Menstrual hygiene Awareness Program: Mota Varachha - Surat

A Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program and Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive was organized on July 31, 2025, in Mota Varachha, Surat by Suwasini Trust and Dr. Urvashi Mishra. The program was conducted at Sanskarteerth Gyanpeeth with the objective of promoting awareness about menstrual health among girls. Students were guided on the importance of hygiene, its benefits, and safe practices during menstruation. As part of the initiative, sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to all participants. The program successfully encouraged healthy practices, raised awareness, and empowered young girls with confidence, dignity, and essential knowledge for better health.
